The run-up to Christmas has arrived and with it the all important Advent Calendar.
Once again, my Wife, the Saint, the Expert Gifter, the Gift-Giving Goddess has got me the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar and with it she has, once again, also given all of you dear readers 24 days of Blog Posts.
As I suspected, the Ahch–To theme did continue today but I wasn’t expecting this Luke Skywalker mini-fig this early in the month.
Ahch-To Luke is wearing his island gear rather than the ceremonial white robes he had on at the beginning of ‘The Last Jedi’. The details on the figure are good, we get to see his coat over the rest of his gear and he’s also got his walking cane and a big fish (not to scale with the one in the film).
I have been desperate for this mini-fig for almost two years now and whilst I think the white robes Luke we got in the ‘Ahch-To Training’ set from 2018, I really think this one should have been included instead (accuracy is key) and I will be swapping the two Luke’s around in the future.
My one gripe here is that he doesn’t have a brown cloak, but I’ve got quite a few spares hidden away so one day I will stick one on him to see how it looks.
I really hope it’s not, only so I can safely say I didn’t do a spoiler.
This is really all about Chewie and rather than give him a weapon, Lego have given us a couple of fun accessories to display with our favourite Wookiee.
